9 - 13 May: International Training Programme on Innovations and Modern Management Initiatives (Sri Lanka – UPM)

SERDANG, 9 – 13 May. Putra International Centre (i-PUTRA) has assisted 25 delegates from Sri Lanka for International Training Programme on Innovations and Modern Management Initiatives. The delegates were from middle managers and administrators of the government of Sri Lanka.

Among the objectives of the programme were enabling the broad thinking and vision for a better public sector management, exposure to international frontiers in technology and services in the public sector, breaking the routine work flow and opening ideas for innovations.

The professional exposure visit was designed to offer multiple advantages, way beyond just acquiring information. A physical journey mixed with intellectual attention creates a conducive knowledge sharing platform, common understanding on trends, relationships forged in the fun, commitments to new approaches and friendships for future networking.

“The opportunity to feel the physical environment and scenes, to get acquainted with real people, understanding their culture and achievements can certainly create inspiration to keep going further and launch new initiatives,” Mr. Nihal Gunasekara Okanda Watthage, Commissioner of Department of Inland Revenue.
