SERDANG, August 8. Putra International Centre (i-PUTRA) of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) received an official visit from Shenzhen Invo Edu-Tech Co.Ltd, China, today. The visit, led by the Executive Officer of Shenzhen Invo Edu-Tech Co.Ltd, Ms Tan Nuo, was made to discuss potential collaboration with UPM. According to Ms. Tan, public institutions of higher learning in Malaysia are becoming the preferred choice among students in China.
"Malaysia has prestigious public institutions of higher learning, and UPM is among the universities that are on the list. With the availability of an online platform, we hope to provide more exposure for students from China to grab this opportunity and to take advantage of this initiative," she said.
The Director of i-PUTRA , Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zelina Zaiton Ibrahim, revealed that the number of students from China undergoing the mobility programme at UPM is the highest compared to students from other countries, and is also increasing each year.
"I believe that with the cooperation between UPM and Shenzhen Invo Edu-Tech Co.Ltd, we will be able to increase the number of students, researchers, lecturers and staff taking part in the mobility programme," she said.
