WHO SHOULD APPLY FOR SPECIAL PASS AND WHY?
NEW PROCEDURE IN ISSUING SPECIAL PASS
We would like to inform you the new procedure in issuing the Special Pass for International Students that has been implemented by the Malaysia Immigration recently.
Effective from 04 January 2016, Malaysia Immigration has tightened the implementation of giving the Special Passes. As for now on, all Special Pass would be given and “Making Arrangement to Leave the Country” and no longer as “Pending for Employment Pass” or “Pending for Student Pass”.
All applicants who were given the Special Pass “Making Arrangement to Leave the Country” will no longer be able to apply for other passes such as Student Pass, Employment Pass or Professional Visit Pass while they are still in Malaysia. No conversion from one pass to another pass shall be made or given anymore by the Malaysia Immigration. All applicants have to leave the country once received the Special Pass.
Please take note and we apologize of any inconvenient caused.
