First introduced in 2016, the Putra Experience Summer School is a mobility programme designed and managed by University Putra Malaysia, offering a well-structured and diverse learning experience for its participants.

With 18 modules offered by 16 faculties and the Centre for the Advancement of Language Competence (CALC), the programme offers an array of academic and authentic cultural experiences. All our facilitators have professional backgrounds and are experienced in encouraging active student learning and participation.  Learning activities are not confined to the classroom, but also include outdoor pursuits such as industrial and historical visits, nature walks and heritage trails, community mixers, and cultural activities.  By the end of the programme, the participants are expected to have built on their self-esteem and confidence, and to have improved their communication and other lifelong soft skills.  

For the year 2019, the programme will be held between June and October.  Each module takes a minimum duration of 14 days to complete.  The fee for the programme ranges from USD700 to USD3,000 per participant.  The fee is inclusive of accommodation, meals, transportation, learning materials and outdoor activities. UPM Summer School can also can be re-design to follow large number of participant per-programme.
